SOMETHING CRAZY I LEARNED TODAY

Today my friend told me that all the characters in Winnie the Pooh are based off of mental health disorders. If you think about it it really makes sense.

Pooh=Binge eating
Piglet=Anxiety
Rabbit=OCD
Eyeore=Depression
Tigger=ADHD
Owl=Narcissism

... and Christopher Robin is the schizophrenic who made all of these characters up.
Crazy, huh?

ZOMG

My dad just got a whole bunch of screeners in the mail! For those of you who don't know what screeners are, they are FREE (!!!) movies that my dad gets because he is on the voting panel for some writers guild thing magigy. So basically every year around this time we get movies that are either recently released on DVD, still in theaters, or AREN'T EVEN IN THEATERS YET. So far we have gotten The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Argo, Flight (which I am NOT watching because that means I will never get on a plane again), This is 40, The Darks Knight Rises, and Moonrise Kingdom. All of these movies I am really excited about (well, except for Flight), and I should have reviews on some of the very soon!

PITCH PERFECT

This movie was hi-lar-ious. From the memorable lines to the goofy characters, this movie was a riot. Set on a fake college campus, the two acapella singing groups on campus are huge rivals. They go to competition and compete against one another and...WELL GO SEE THE MOVIE TO SEE HOW IT ENDS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! But, seriously, if you haven't seen this movie, you should.

To tell the truth, at first I was a little skeptical about this movie, thinking it would be stupid and cheesy, but this was a few days after my "Looper" ordeal, so I decided to take a "risk" and give it a chance. This was probably the best "risk" I've ever taken. This movie was funny right from the start when *MINI SPOILER ALERT* one of the singers in the girls acapella group throws up on stage at a competition. With all of the jokes such as "horizontal running" and "mermaid dancing" this movie is a must see.

Fat Amy has to have been by favorite character. She calls herself "Fat Amy" so bitches like you don't do it behind her back. Played by Rebel Wilson (!!! who was Kristen Wiig's roomate in Bridesmaids), Fat Amy had to have been the funniest character. She spawned both of the jokes mentioned earlier (horizontal running and mermaid dancing). Fat Amy was ah-may-zing.

Overall, I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.
